This workshop is for the waterfall lover. We will photograph seven waterfalls, landscapes, and a few streams in North Carolina's best wilderness area. This workshop is also scheduled during the fall color season. Hiking will consist of maintained trails, with the two most difficult trails being moderate and approximately 1.25 miles one way. The hiking will be slow paced with time taken out to rest and discuss photographic techniques. There is one full day dedicated to each of the two longest hikes. The two long hikes include photographic opportunities at one third points and lunch will be eaten in the field. We recommend hiking boots for the trip. Walking sticks will be available for loan. Backpacks for camera gear, lunch, and water is also recommended.
