BUILDING BRIDGES: ABRAHAMIC PERSPECTIVES ON THE WORLD TODAY (SEASON II) NOW AVAILABLE AS 3-DVD SET
Acclaimed TV Series with Rabbi Brad Hirschfield Looks at
the Issues Dividing Our Faiths and Our Country

By Judy Epstein

A landmark TV series created by and featuring CLAL President Rabbi Brad Hirschfield for Bridges TV – American Muslim TV Network, Building Bridges: Abrahamic Perspectives on the World Today (Season II) is now available as a 3-DVD set. Bringing together religious leaders from the major traditions to grapple with the issues spitting religious communities and our country, the series looks at where we are similar, where we are different, and how to build a new level of understanding in a time of suspicion and uncertainty.

“Moving beyond the typical sound bites that would have us believe either that religion is always right or that we really should fear the faithful,” said Rabbi Hirschfield, “this series offers passion without polarization on the issues that matter most in our country and in our culture.”

Presenting all 15 episodes, the 3-DVD set covers such timely topics as the health care crisis, education and our schools, religion and the environment, and many other issues making the headlines. With interviews from the “man on the street,” the series offers viewers a new way to look at how people of faith see themselves, the world, and each other.

Connecting the east to west, Bridges TV attempts to build bridges between American Muslims and other Americans, thereby healing past relationships and creating new ones. It reaches close to 3 million households nationwide.
