CLAL FacultyJoshua Halberstam, Ph.D.Dr. Joshua Halberstam is the author of Work: Making a Living and Making a Life (Putnam/Penguin) among other popular books on philosophy and ethics. He is currently an adjunct professor at Teachers College Columbia University and at BCC of City University and has taught philosophy at the New School and NYU (from where he received a Ph.D. in philosophy). Dr. Halberstam has also had an extensive career working in the private sector as an entrepreneur and in corporate marketing campaigns and lectures at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and other leading campuses on work related issues and has led seminars on leaderships for a wide array of organizations (e.g. New York Public Library).
